KATE HASTING BAND TO PERFORM ALONGSIDE COUNTRY STAR COLLIN RAYE FOR FIREFIGHTER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ALLIANCE BENEFIT

Duo scheduled to take the stage at Nashville’s City Winery Wednesday ahead of EP release. 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 12, 2017) - The Kate Hasting Band will take the stage alongside country star Collin Raye and artist Paul Cummings on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 beginning at 7 p.m. CST at Nashville’s City Winery. The show is set to benefit the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance, which develops and implements behavioral health awareness, prevention, intervention and post-crisis strategies to provide firefighters with an easily accessible and confidential source of information.

“We’re thrilled to take part in this event,” said Kate Hasting, lead singer of The Kate Hasting Band. "We're both huge fans of Collin Raye and his music - to get to perform with him and benefit such an incredible organization? It doesn’t get better then that.”

The performance comes ahead of The Kate Hasting Band’s release of new EP, “Can’t Get Enough”, which will be available digitally October 20. Hard copies of the album will be available exclusively to concert goersWednesday night ahead of the official release, and title track “Can’t Get Enough” will be available to stream exclusively via country outlet The Boot.

From the lakes to the streets, the music of The Kate Hasting Band will be in the air all over the area in the coming days.

The country music group led by Northwestern High School alum Hasting will perform at three events locally beginning with the eighth annual Lion’s Club North Hampton Street Fair at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25. That acoustic show is free.

The band will be back at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 as part of the Wake the Lake event at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The show will be on the fairgrounds grandstand; tickets cost $5 general admission and $10 VIP.

MarketFEST ’17 will round out the concerts, 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 adjacent to the Heritage Center of Clark County, 117 S. Fountain Ave. That event is also free.

“We’re always looking forward to coming home,” said Hasting. “It’s always exciting to play in the area.”

The street fair is a special event to Hasting. She and bandmate Josh Beale try to get back to when possible.

“I used to drive through North Hampton every day on my way to school,” she said. “The Lions Club has always been good to us and it’s close enough my grandparents can come to it.”

COUNTRY TRIO KICKS OFF HOLIDAY SEASON WITH BENEFIT FOR DAYTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

DAYTON, Ohio (November 18, 2016) - Kate Hasting Band members Kate Hasting and Josh Beale kicked off the holiday season Friday morning, taking to the phones as part of the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon, benefiting Dayton Children's Hospital. 

"I'm from just outside of Dayton," said Hasting. "To be part of this event means a lot to all of us - me especially."

"This time of year always prompts reflection of the blessings we've been given," added Beale. "But it also reminds us there are many less fortunate. We're honored to give back and, hopefully, brighten someone's holidays."

The Kate Hasting Band is currently writing and recording material for their new album and single, due out early next year. The video for previous single Behind the Bleachers was picked up by Great American Country (GAC), ZUUS Country and several other regional outlets nationwide.
